ISLAMABAD, July 23 (APP): The exchange rate of dollar soared by 05 paisa in interbank and was traded at Rs 160.58 as compared with the last closing at Rs 160.53, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Tuesday.
However according to Forex association of Pakistan the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs 160.20 and Rs 160.70.
The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro decreased by 51 paisa and was traded at Rs 179.55 as compared with last closing at Rs 180.06.
The exchange rate of Japanese yen remained constant at Rs 1.48, whereas the decrease of 54 paisa was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 199.54 as compared with last closing at Rs 200.08.
Exchange rates of UAE Dirham raised by 02 paisa whereas Saudi Rayal gained 01 paisa in interbank after which they were traded at Rs 43.72 and Rs 42.81 against Rs 43.70 and Rs 42.80 respectively.
