ISLAMABAD, July 26 (APP): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Friday noted bearish trend as KSE 100 index plunged by 343.13 points (1.06 percent) to close at 32,103.27 points.

A total of 86,567,720 shares were traded, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 1.935 billion.

Out of 310 companies, share prices of 50 companies recorded increase while 243 companies registered decrease whereas 17 companies remained stable in today’s trading.

The three top traded companies were Bank of Punjab with a volume of, 23,848,500 and price per share of Rs 8.23, World Call Telecom with a volume of 7,246,000 and price per share of Rs .59 and Pak Elektron with a volume of 4,070,500 and price per share of Rs 15.12.

The top advancer was Gatron Industries with the increase of Rs 9.39 per share, closing at Rs 314.89 while Sazgar Engineering was runner up with the increase of Rs 8.07 per share, closing at Rs 188.93.

The top decliners were Nestle Pakistan with the decrease of Rs 306.74 per share, closing at Rs 5828.25 and Pak Tobacco with the decrease of Rs 100.59 per share closing at Rs 2399.40.
